An old team
Série "Des Visages" - Vue 021
This is a picture of the workers of an old factory at the beginning of the century. For each man there is a number and the story of the man and it is very odd and concerning reviving the life of these unknown. For example, Nr 4 (with the bottle) leave the factory to work in a great automobile factory. Or number 5 killed himself.... Location : Nans S/ste Anne - Country: France Post Nr 235

Hmmm. Most interesting, Zeb. I've never heard of something like this, where the story is told for each man. I wonder if relatives are alive who wanted this done to preserve the memory?!
Zebigleb: In fact, the one who wrote about these people is the Nr 11 on the shot and he's dead now ! Thank you for your visit Ginnie
Interesting and odd. Thanks for sharing! Where did you find this and who dug up all those personal stories?
Zebigleb: I find this in an old factory wich is now a museum. The comment about people on the photography is coming from Nr 11 who is now dead. Thank for your visit Martin !!

Zebigleb: Hi Gaidara
Sadly, I didn't have the idea to write for the others
The swelling up effect that there is in the image, is peculiar.
It was a picture in a wall?. I have always liked much the old images, mainly those of cities, in which she is seen before and later!

Don't they have child labour laws in France - that 11 looks awfull young for a factory worker!
I just love these old pics - I have started talking to my mother to have some old pictures that I can restore.
Zebigleb: And you're right, I ask my mother too and restore more than 100 family shots (some where very old) it's a difficult work but it's really great to do that !
